Hey Yall, It's Been A While

Hey, old friend..

It has been over a year since I have written my last blog post. Life gets crazy and priorities are made, and to be honest, blogging has never been at the top of the list for me... obviously. But it's strange. I have always loved to write, share what's happening in my life, my business, and my corner of the world. A lot has happened in my life in the last year.. a lot, a lot!! The biggest and most important life event was the birth of my sweet baby, Jase! Jase was born this July with a head full of hair and a heart full of love!! He is the most snuggly, sweet, perfect human and I love him more than life itself. My husband, Dylan, and I have turned to complete mush (as if we weren't tender hearted before), and you can find us staring at our little guy at almost any given moment!

Since having Jase, life has truly changed in every way for the better. I feel so much more present with the people I love. I value my family and friendships more than I ever have before. And, I have realized that photography is much more than my "creative outlet." Because of this (and Jase), I have quit my full time job and am officially pursuing photography as a career (exciting..scary..amazing!!). It is such a honor to be a photographer. Life is so sweet, and getting to capture small moments with huge impacts is such a blessing! I am so thankful to be a part of the biggest moments in my people's (YOU) lives! Weddings, new babies, graduations... all of it is so special and my heart is so full of gratitude!

I finally get the chance to pour my heart into my work. I am so excited to see what the future holds for Ashlyn Jordan Photography.. I know it will be more than I can ever ask or imagine. God has perfectly orchestrated everything up to this moment, and I fully trust that he will lead me in the direction that I need to go.

Below are some of my favorite moments in my life since my last post. I will be around a lot more often from here on out. :)
